“An obstacle downstream propagates upstream. If you’re not allowed to implement new ideas, you stop having them. And vice versa: when you can do whatever you want, you have more ideas about what to do. So [keeping a blog] makes your brain more powerful in the same way a low-restriction exhaust system makes an engine more powerful.”
Paul Graham (who was writing about startups, not blogging)
ABOUT ME

My name is Jonte Shaw.
I graduated from The University of Melbourne in 2015 with a Bachelor of Commerce and majors in Finance and Marketing. I spent a year teaching at the university, before moving on to launch EatClub, which is a dynamic pricing platform for restaurants. During my time there, our small founding team of 5 grew to 50 people across 5 cities and 2 countries.
Right now though, I’m working on Wrappr, which is a unique out of home media format that my brother, Liam, and I started together. We are building a company that embodies our core values of freedom, trust and having a positive impact on the environment.
To get things started here, I’ll be focusing my writing on climate change and its related environmental impacts.
